Craig and Stevie-Faye first booked me to film their wedding pre pandemic, and after years of waiting, they finally had their day in June 2022. Their gorgeous ceremony was at St Peter & St Pauls Church in Worth followed by their reception at The Blue Pigeons which is conveniently placed opposite the church.
There were many many beautiful moments during this day, one that particularly stood out for me was when Stevie-Faye's dad first saw his daughter in her wedding dress. Their father/daughter relationship is so special and you could feel the immense proudness that overwhelmed her dad when he got to see her.
It isn't always possible for me to capture both the bride and groom getting ready but after some planning I was able to film Craig and his 2 best men getting ready and then quickly drove over to Stevie-Faye who was getting ready at Sandi cottage AirBnb 10 minutes down the road. We were then back to the church in time to set my cameras and microphones and capture the guests walking over from the pub ready for the ceremony.
A beautiful service was delivered by the reverend, after some confetti and very quick group shots outside the church, it was off across the road to The Blue Pigeons to celebrate their matrimony.
Another great moment was this couples table plan. They had managed to collate the worst pictures they could find and put them onto polaroids, their guests had to find their faces on the board and as I'm sure you can imagine the reactions were epic!
The speeches were followed after their meal, starting with Stevie-Faye's dad, Craig and his two best men.
There were vintage garden games during the day and the Cobalt Sky band in the evening. I think it's a fair assumption to say their day was filled with lots of entertainment, lots of laughter and lots of love!
